Mitsu Nyreen, 65, of Sioux City, passed away on June 23, 2017, at her residence.

There will be no services.

Mitsu was born on Nov. 5, 1951, in Sioux City, the daughter of Billy Bob and Ramona Ebel. She graduated from Central High School in 1970.

She was married to Larry Nyreen on Oct. 20, 1981. She was employed with the Sioux City Community Schools for 15 plus years.

She enjoyed playing the slot machines and collecting clowns and Coke memorabilia.

She is survived by her children, Jody and Karri Lenzen, both of Sioux City; grandchildren, Beau and Nathan Lenzen; brother, Joe Ebel; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Larry; a sister, Karen; and a brother, Bill.
