SIOUX CITY | Sharon Hanson of Burbank, S.D., formerly of Sioux City, passed away Sunday, Feb. 19, 2017, at the hospice facility in Johnston, Iowa.

A celebration of life service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Rick Hanson Plumbing, 5450 Military Road in Sioux City.

Sharon was born on May 20, 1940, in Sioux City, to George and Lela Stolpe. She attended school in Sioux City.

She was united in marriage to Ben Hanson on Dec. 29, 1994. They resided in Sioux City until they retired in 1995. They then made their home in Burbank.
