SIOUX CITY | LeAnn J. Stephens, 65, of Sioux City, passed away Friday, Feb. 24, 2017, at Pioneer Valley Living and Rehabilitation in Sergeant Bluff.

Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. The Rev. Doug Collins of Radiant Life Community Church will officiate. Burial will be at a later date in Logan Park Cemetery. Visitation will be noon until service time Saturday at the funeral home. Condolences may be offered online at www.meyerbroschapels.com.

LeAnn was born on Aug. 13, 1951, in Sioux City to Gaius W. and Ethel A. (Whitlock) Stephens. She attended school in Sioux City and graduated from East High School in 1970. She then attended Spencer School of Cosmetology. LeAnn worked at Gingham Girl Salon, then at St. Luke's Medical Center, and later for Siouxland Hematology.

She loved traveling with her friends throughout various parts of the United States and Canada.

Survivors include a brother, Robert Stephens; a sister, Lila (Stephens) Solomon; and a brother, William (Sherol) Stephens, all of Sioux City; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister-in-law, Mae Stephens; and a nephew, Thad W. Stephens.

Honorary pallbearers will be her nieces and nephews.
