Beverly was born on May 9, 1936, in Long Beach, Calif. She was the daughter of Mike and Teddie (Johnson) Biderman. She graduated from high school in Denver, Colo., and lived in Long Beach, Calif., Hawaii, Kokomo, Ind., Sheldon, Iowa, Sioux City, Joplin, Mo., and then settled back in Sioux City in 1985 until her passing. She graduated from nursing school at Western Iowa Tech in 1973 and became a LPN.

She worked at St. Luke's on the urology floor for five years, and other jobs at Amicare/Hospice of Siouxland, where she took care of end-of-life patients in their homes. She also worked at various in-home nursing and hospice positions in Sioux City before retiring from Mid-Step/Parkview Homes.

Beverly had one daughter, Valerie. Both being only children, they formed a very close bond and were close as sisters and best friends.

Beverly loved her collection of Jazz music with the vibes, Latin and Bossa Nova instrumental sounds also known as Smooth Jazz. Beverly enjoyed sewing, crocheting, cross-stitching, and flower gardening. Above everything else, she was extremely passionate about her rewarding career as a nurse and that her daughter, Valerie, is also a nurse.

Those left to honor her memory include her daughter, Valerie and Dave Greger of Sioux City; furry grandkids, Jasmine, Jenny, Joey, Jesse, Jack, Johnny, JJ and Dixie.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
