SIOUX CITY | Margaret M. Binnebose, 93, of Sioux City, passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2017, in Sioux City.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Calvary Lutheran Church. The Rev. David Schoop will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m., and a prayer service at 7 p.m., at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Margaret was born Aug. 27, 1923, in Alcester, S.D. She was the daughter of Oscar F. and Anna E. Erickson and grew up on the family farm. Margaret came to Sioux City following high school graduation and worked at Sioux City Battery Corp. during World War II. She then worked at Toy National Bank.

On Aug. 17, 1946, she married Earl E. Binnebose in Alcester. Together they raised three children. Several years later, she returned to Toy National Bank until her retirement. Earl died Jan. 11, 1995, in Sioux Falls, S.D.

Margaret loved playing cards and keeping social. In earlier years, she enjoyed bowling, golfing and gardening. She was a longtime member of Calvary Lutheran Church.

Survivors include her children and their spouses, Barb (Dan) Hirsch of Omaha, Brad (Karen) Binnebose of Sioux City, and Vicki (Clark) Boddy of Sioux City; eight grandchildren, Tara (Josh) LeMay, Daniel (Marta) Hirsch, Kelly (Michael) Evans, Samantha Binnebose, Hank Binnebose, Lucas Boddy, Jessica (Matt) Tank and Jeremy (Kelsie) Boddy; 16 great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Margaret Erickson of Pipestone, Minn.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and siblings, Wallace Erickson, Wendell Erickson, Walter Erickson, Minnie Nylund, and Margaret's twin, Morris Erickson.

A special thank you to Kim Kull (great niece) for all her care and support given to Margaret.

Memorials are suggested to be made in her name to Calvary Lutheran Church.
