15 February 2017SIOUX CITY | Donald L. Franklin, 93, of Grinnell, Iowa, formerly of Sioux City, died Sunday, Feb. 12, 2017, at Windsor Manor in Grinnell.
Private family service will be held Friday at Smith Funeral Home in Grinnell. Interment will be at a later date in Rapid City, S.D.
Mr. Franklin was employed at Metz Baking Company in Sioux City for many years.
Survivors include his two children, Kenneth (Sue) Franklin of Plymouth, Minn., and Lynn (Jeff) Schwark of Grinnell; 11 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Grafton and Arvilla Franklin; and his wife, Joyce Franklin.
