Irene Ellen Veara was born April 14, 1926 in Sioux City, Iowa, to Harold and Ellen Hammerstrom. She entered into eternal life on April 6, 2017. In 1955 she met and married the love of her life, Ronald Veara. Together they adopted and raised three children, Glen, Brian and Lori in Appleton, Wisconsin. In 1986 they retired and moved to Sun City, Arizona, where they enjoyed golfing, cards and visiting their grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Ron, she is survived by her children Brian(Cindy) and Lori(Scott)Fitzgerald, grandchildren, Erin(Kyle), Lindsay(Andy) and Brad and great granddaughter, Cadence. She was preceded in death by her son, Glen. Celebration of Life will be at Lord of Life Church in Sun CIty on April 13 at 1 p. m.
