SIOUX CITY | Frank L. Hines, 72, of Sioux City, died Saturday, Jan. 21, 2017, at a Sioux City hospital, surrounded by his loved ones.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City. Visitation with the family will begin at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Frank Lawrence Hines was born on July 18, 1944, in Pine Ridge, S.D., the son of Albert and Rosa (Pittinger) Hines. Frank moved to Sioux City in 1954. In 1958, Frank was married to Marvetta Jenkins. They were later divorced.

Frank worked at many places in the Sioux City area, including Sioux City Rendering, Sioux City Brick and Tile Company in Sergeant Bluff, and Mort Fish Farms in Leeds. Most recently Frank mowed lawns and did snow removal services.

Survivors include his sons, Terry Hines (fianceé Amanda Ash), Marvin (Amy) Hines and Bryon "Bubba" (Kellie) Hines; his daughters, Roxanne (Samuel) Orona and Alfreda Benitez; 15 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brothers, Al Hines, Stanley Hines and Harvey F. Hines; and sisters, Mildred Klien, Mary Hughes, Carol Riffey, Wanda Ingalls and Florence Tallman.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Harvey D. Hines and Donald Hines; and sisters, Gladys Jensen, Margret Hughes and Shirley Hines.
