SIOUX CITY | Kelly Jeanne Quinton, 51, of Fargo, N.D., formerly of Sioux City, passed away peacefully Thursday, Feb. 2, 2017, with family by her side, after a courageous four-month battle with cancer.

Services will be today at Calvary Methodist Church in Fargo. Arrangements are with Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home in Fargo.

Kelly was born Feb. 2, 1966, in Sioux City, to Janeth (Schroder) and James Shea. She graduated in 1984 from Sioux City East High School. She attended Iowa State University in Ames and Morningside College in Sioux City.

She was married to Jeff Levich from 1988 to 2001.

Kelly’s focus in life was her three children, David, Julianne and Michael. She was an amazing mother.

On June 7, 2006, she married the love of her life, Corey Quinton.

Kelly was employed for the past 16 years at Scheels. She had a passion for her work, and cherished the time spent with her co-workers.

Kelly had a unique gift for living every moment totally and completely. Her grace, beauty and spirit made it impossible not to enjoy time spent with her. She was a talented athlete, loved music and sports of all types, and was a passionate Kansas Jayhawks basketball fan. She loved to travel and experience new things. Kelly had three golden retrievers during her lifetime, and enjoyed training them and spending time with them outdoors.

Survivors include her husband, Corey Quinton; her children, David Mayer, Julianne Levich and Michael Levich; stepsons, Mitchell Quinton and Jacob Quinton; her parents, William and Janeth Burke; grandfather, Eldon Schroder; uncles, Rex and Ronald Schroder; aunt, Dottie Guilbertl; and numerous cousins and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Beth Schroder; and aunt, Judy Williams.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Roger Maris Cancer Center in Fargo, or the Kelly Quinton Benefit Fund c/o Gate City Bank in Fargo.
