William Henry Barrett, 63, 2712 Leech Avenue, died Wednesday at a hospital after a three-day illness.

Mr. Barrett was a painting and paper changing contractor. He was born February 8, 1885, at Sioux Falls, S.D. He had resided in Sioux City 30 years. A son Charles of Hermosa Beach, Cal., survives.

The body was taken to the Rutledge funeral home.

Funeral services for William Henry Barrett, 63, 2712 Leech Avenue who died Wednesday at a hospital after a three-day illness, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Rutledge funeral home. Rev. George W. Dunn will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Members of local 214 Painters Union will be pallbearers.
