Margaret G. Wilson, 91, of Sioux City died Friday, Feb. 24, 2006, in Sioux City.

Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. Alex T. Washington officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 3 to 8 p.m. today, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home.

Margaret was born Feb. 17, 1915, to William J. and Amanda May (Hamel) Leckband in Sioux City. The family lived for a short time in Lawton, Iowa, before moving back to Sioux City. Margaret attended and graduated from Sioux City schools.

She married James R. Wilson on Feb. 26, 1938, in South Dakota. Margaret worked as an account clerk for the city of Sioux City until retiring in 1979.

She was of the Lutheran faith. She enjoyed playing games, reading and especially going to North Sioux City to gamble. Margaret loved spending time with her family and going to her summer home in Spirit Lake, Iowa.

Survivors include three sons, Robert E. Wilson and wife, Mary Ann of Sioux City, Raymond F. Wilson and wife, Beverly of Centennial, Colo. and Russell J. Wilson of Clinton, Iowa and wife, Natalie Wilson of Apopka, Fla.; a stepson, Ronald J. Wilson and wife, Beryl of Lee Summit, Mo.; six grandchildren, Robert S. Wilson, James Wilson, Briana Reinking, Russell Wilson, Craig Wilson and Stephen Wilson; four great-grandchildren, Robert Wilson, Ryan Wilson, Trevor Wilson and Brooke Wilson; a brother, William Leckband of Sioux City; and two sisters, Dorothy Jacobs and Marie Gunderson, both of Sioux City.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Wilson in 1985; two brothers, George and Jack Leckband; two brothers-in-law, Loren Jacobs and Thomas Gunderson; and a sister-in-law, Norma Leckband.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Siouxland.
