SERGEANT BLUFF -- Michel "Mike" Patrick Ricard, 26, of Sergeant Bluff passed away Saturday, Feb. 4, 2006, from injuries received in a one-car accident.

Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Spirit of Life Lutheran Church in the Pioneer Mall in Sergeant Bluff, with the Rev. Gary Harris, Pastor and Becca's brothers, the Revs. Clint Loveall and Lance Loveall officiating. Visitation with the family present will be 6 to 8 p.m. today at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Home in Sergeant Bluff.

Mike was born on June 18, 1979, in Sioux City, the son of Michael and Rhonda Ricard. He resided in Sioux City and the surrounding area all of his life.

Mike married his true love and soul mate, Becca Dianne Loveall on Nov. 16, 2002. He was a loving and amazing husband and a devoted, loving father to their two year old son, Aidan. Mike had worked at Godfather's Pizza in Sergeant Bluff and Little Chicago Deli. He had just started employment at Soo Tractor Sweep Rake Co. in Sioux City.

Mike was a talented musician and had been a member of many bands. His specialty was drums but he could play almost any instrument. He will be missed by all who knew him for his sense of humor, creativity, amazing smile, incredible hugs and legendary BBQ's.

Survivors include his wife, Rebecca "Becca"; their son, Aidan Michael; his father and stepmother, Michael and Kari Ricard; his mother, Rhonda Ricard; a sister, Sarah Ricard; step-siblings, Molly and Beau Scott; and maternal grandmother, Aileen Albright.

Pallbearers will be Bill Barbee, Ed Van Etten, John McClary, Jeremy Bonner, Casey Schroeder, Brendan Kelly, Rob Stone, Ben Anderson, Matt Wilke and Aidan Ricard.
