10 March 1998Daniel F. Jones, 62, of Stockbridge, Ga., formerly of Sioux City, died Sunday, March 8, 1998, in Stockbridge.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at St. Augustine’s Episcopal Church in Morrow, Ga. with the Rev. Barry Griffin officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be from 6 to 8:30 p.m. today at Rainer Funeral Home in Stockbridge.
Mr. Jones was a graduate of Sioux City Central High School and Iowa State University. He owned Truckers Service Inc.
He was a member of St. Augustine’s Episcopal Church and the Audubon Society. He was an avid runner, having completed 20 Peachtree Road Races.
Services include three sons, Bradley W. and Matthew, both of Atlanta, Ga. and Martin C. of Stockbridge; his brother, Benjamin of Glendale, Ariz.; his father Frederic E. of Sioux City and a grandson, Wells Jones.
