SOUTH SIOUX CITY -- Emaline M. "Dody" Phillips, 77, of South Sioux City passed away Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2007, at her residence.

Memorial services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Becker-Hunt Funeral Home, with the Rev. Nancy Leonard of St. Paul United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.

Dody was born Dec. 29, 1929, in South Sioux City, the daughter of George and Martha (Wolf) Peters.

She married Charles L. Phillips on Dec. 24, 1947, in South Sioux City. She was a life long resident of South Sioux City.

She was of the Methodist faith and enjoyed bingo and her family.

Survivors include her daughter and her husband, Vicky and Richard Wilkinson of North Sioux City; two grandchildren, Brenda Wilkinson and Trisha Johnson, both of Sioux City; six great-grandsons; and a great-great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles on Aug. 21, 2002 in South Sioux City; her parents; three brothers, Clarence, George and Donnie Peters; and two sisters, Iona Leach and Darlene Rub.
