Don Reimer of Cypress, California and formerly of Danbury, Iowa passed away due to cancer on May 5, 2005.

Donald Peter Reimer was born on November 30, 1925, to Peter and Elizabeth (Ortner) Reimer. He graduated from Danbury High School in 1943 where he played basketball, baseball and softball. He served in the Navy in the Pacific in WWII and received an honorable discharge. He attended Morningside College in Sioux City, Iowa and Wayne State in Wayne, Nebraska. He moved to California in 1943. Don married Ina in 1956. She passed away 4 weeks after Don, also from cancer.

The Reimers survivors are a daughter Kimberly from California, a brother Dean Reimer of Long Beach, California and a sister Audrey Murphy of South Sioux City, Nebraska.

Don was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy (Reimer) Burton and a brother, Marvin Reimer.
