MILFORD, Iowa | Cecilia M. "Babe" Stevens, 75, of Milford, formerly of Sioux City, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2017, at home.

A memorial gathering and luncheon will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 21 at Carey's Cafe in Cherokee, Iowa. Arrangements are with Turner Jenness Funeral Home in Spirit Lake, Iowa.

Cecilia Risner was born April 10, 1941, in Sioux City, to Eunice and Eldon Risner.

She married Macie Horton in 1957. They had five children, Cindy, Laura, Mark, Monte and Marla.

In 1983, she married Thomas Stevens. They had a son, Shannon.

Cecilia loved get-togethers with family and friends, playing cards, bingo, and dancing. But most of all, spending time with her grandkids and great grandkids.

Survivors include her six children, Cindy Horton of Cherokee, Iowa, Laura (Mike) Paeper of Milford, Mark (Denise) Horton of Cherokee, Monte Horton of South Sioux City, Neb., Marla (Chad) Morrow of Cushing, Iowa, and Shannon (Rhonda) Stevens of Sioux City; four brothers, Cecil (Delores) Risner of Sioux City, Edward (Sharon) Risner of Dakota City, Neb., Arther (Diane) Risner of Broken Arrow, Okla., and Robin (Mary) Risner of Sioux City; sister, Patricia (Terry) Gereau of Torrance, Calif.; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her two husbands; aunts; uncles; brother, Alan Risner; sister, Sheila; brother-in-law, Terry Gereau; nephew, Terry Lee Gereau; and grandson, Zachery.
