Mrs. Charles Stiles
Memorial services for Mrs. Charles A. Stiles, 81, of Bremerton, Wash., a former Sioux City residence who died Tuesday at a nursing home near Bremerton, will be Thursday in Bremerton. The body will be brought to Sioux City for burial in Graceland Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Stiles, the former Edith Groesbeck, was born September 11, 1883, at Lorimor, Iowa. She attended Drake University and taught school for a time in the Lorimor area. She was married to Charles A. Stiles June 22, 1910 in Blunt, S.D.

In 1920 they moved to Varina, Iowa. They moved to Sioux City in 1929 and Mrs. Stiles lived here until moving to Bremerton several years ago. Mr. Stiles died in August 1952, in Sioux City.

She was a member of the Methodist Church and had won Iowa state and national recognition for button collecting.

Survivors are three sons, Van Ness of Tucson, Ariz., Leonard of Bremerton and E. Eugene of Sioux City; one sister, Mrs. Maude Stiles of Boone, Iowa and nine grandchildren.
