8 September 1965John Blair, 79, retired Hubbard farmer, died Wednesday morning at a Sioux City hospital following an illness of one week.
Mr. Blair was born December 28, 1885, in Colfax County, Nebraska. He married Mary Mahler, September 21, 1910 at Emerson. She died March 14, 1955 at Hubbard.
He farmed near Hubbard for 35 years, retiring in 1955.
Survivors include a son, Leo of Hubbard; a daughter, Mrs. Audrey Cadwallader of Hubbard and eight grandchildren.
The body was taken to Jack Becker Funeral Home in South Sioux City.
