SIOUX CITY | Joseph Malcolm, 64, of Sioux City, passed away Monday, Jan. 2, 2017, at his residence.

Memorial services will be 6 p.m. Friday at Calvary Lutheran Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.

Joseph Addison, the son of Joseph and Neva (Murphy) Malcolm, was born on Jan. 16, 1952, in Sioux City. He grew up in Sioux City. Following his schooling, Joseph served with the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged in 1974. He then worked various jobs as a cab driver, telemarketer, medical courier and mostly in maintenance with the Marina Inn and Vail Racquet Club.

Joseph was previously married to Melinda Thoms and Bonita Carlson. On June 13, 2016, Joseph was blessed with a subsequent marriage to Lisa Buddi. They made their home in Sioux City.

Joseph was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church. He was an avid camper and enjoyed being in the outdoors.

Joseph is survived by his wife, Lisa Malcolm of Sioux City; a son, Brian (Laura) Malcolm of Sioux City; three daughters, Erin Malcolm of Sioux City, and Amy and Jennifer Malcolm of Nebraska; two brothers, Joseph Earl Malcolm and Billy Malcolm; three: sisters, Sandy Malcolm, Debbie (Don) Florke and Cheryl Malcolm; a stepsister, Linda Rask; and nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Bonita; and a sister, Suzie.
