SIOUX CITY | Susan Kay Rhymer-Harvey, 64, of Sioux City entered eternal life Friday, Aug. 12, 2016, at her home following a brief struggle with cancer.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Loving Faith Fellowship Church, with the Rev. Patrick Burgess officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, with family present 6 to 8 p.m. and a prayer service at 7 p.m., at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City, 4125 Orleans Ave. A luncheon will following the burial at the funeral home.

Susan was born on March 4, 1952, daughter of Donald and Doris (Goff) Rhymer. Her spirit is carried on by her three children, 11 grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and 1 brother.

Susan was an active member of Loving Faith Fellowship Church, and was very devoted to Christ. She loved gardening, spending time with loved ones, and visiting the ocean. She, like many others, endured a lot in her time, but her smile never faded and she always pushed on. She loved and accepted everyone unconditionally, and filled everyone's life with joy and laughter.

Survivors include her children, Holly Dunn, Traci (Loren) Van Der Vliet, and Chris (Jill) Burgart; brother, Tom (Mary) Rhymer, all of Sioux City; 11 grandchildren, Tara, Chanse, Laresa, Christian, Carissa, Talesa, Tabitha, Shiloh, Aidan, Auron, and Vaan; and great-grandchildren, Luxi and Brantley.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents.
