SIOUX CITY | Larry L. Schonrock, 60, of Sioux City died Aug. 1, 2016, at his home.

Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City, 4125 Orleans Ave. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until service time Thursday at the funeral home.

Larry Lee Schonrock was born on Jan. 11, 1956, in Sioux City, the son of Lloyd, Sr. and Betty (Ouelette) Schonrock. Larry attended Crescent Park, West Junior and West High schools in Sioux City.

Larry and Cheryl (Dokken) Schonrock were married on Dec. 6, 1973, in Sioux City. They had three children, Michelle, Clint and April. Larry worked for Metz Baking and subcontracted as a floor covering installer at Creative Carpets for 20-plus years. He was a perfectionist and showed great pride in every job he did.

Larry enjoyed fishing, traveling and reminiscing of days gone by.

Survivors include his lifelong partner, Cheryl Schonrock; his children, Michelle Schonrock, Clint Schonrock and April (Dan) Olhausen; six grandchildren, Jamison, Isaiah, Reagan, Dylan, Carter and Chloe; brothers, Duane and Lloyd (Eileen); sisters, Christine and Ruth; and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Roger; and a sister, Linda Durant.
