SIOUX CITY | Margarett J. Green, 87, of Sioux Falls, S.D., formerly of North Sioux City, passed away July 7, 2016, at her son’s residence in Sioux Falls.

Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Morningside Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Home, with the Revs. Merrill Muller and Martha Anderson officiating. Burial will be in McCook Lake Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Margarett was born July 2, 1929, to John "Jack" and Adeline (Meyer) Molder.

Margarett married Donald Green on May 15, 1946, in Dakota City, Neb. She loved watching NASCAR and "The Young and the Restless," driving her van, traveling, attending Musketeer hockey games and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include a daughter, Sandy (Gene) Mulder of North Sioux City, S.D.; sons, Michael (Marian) Green of Sioux Falls, and Lonnie (Beverly) Green of North Sioux City; grandchildren, April, Kim, Trisha, Jeff, Jason, Josh, Scott, Sean, Sherri, Brad, Lesley, Scott and Tracy; 21 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; sister, Marcella Mings; brother, Patrick Molder; and sister-in-law, Ella "Lu" Molder.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, son, Bill; and brother, John Molder.
