5 October 2016SIOUX CITY | Dorothy M. Allard, 95, of Sioux City, passed away Saturday, Oct. 1, 2016, at Matney Colonial Manor in South Sioux City.
Private graveside services will be at a later date in Calvary Cemetery in Sioux City. Arrangements are with Larkin Chapel Christy-Smith Funeral Homes.
Dorothy was born Sept. 29, 1921, in Sioux City, the daughter of Harry and Mabel ( Bryant) Pinchot.
She married Martin M. Allard Aug. 12, 1950, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sioux City. Martin passed away Aug. 11, 2001.
She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church.
Survivors include her son, Mark (Rolynne) Allard of Sioux City; daughter-in-law, Mona Helmhold of Cupertino, Calif.; and her seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Martin; two sons, Roger and Dennis Helmhold; sister, Elaine Gerard; and brother, Melvin Pinchot.
