SIOUX CITY | David Alan Noll, 73, of Sioux City, passed away Friday, Sept. 30, 2016, at the VA Hospital in Sioux Falls, S.D.

Private family services and burial will be held. Arrangements are with Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.

David was born Aug. 24, 1943, on a farm outside of Arthur, Iowa, to Harl and Mildred (Thevenot) Noll.

He married Marilyn Courtright on April 3, 1970.

He retired from structural drafting on Sept. 6, 2016.

Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Marilyn; daughters, Debra Manning of Mesa, Ariz., and Brenda (Chris) Noll-Norvell of Sioux City; sons, David (Patricia) Manning of Buffalo, N.Y., and Bryan Noll (special friend Lisa Wise) of Sioux City; six grandchildren, Austin, Whitney, Brylee and Brayden Noll, and Benjamin and Kathryn Manning; a great-grandchild, Jayce Noll; brother-in-law, Gary (Barbara) Courtright of Edwards, Ill.; an uncle; two aunts; a niece; a nephew; and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; infant brother, Dallas; brother, Richard; and his mother- and father-in-law.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Noah's Hope Animal Rescue, Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation, or Shesler Hall
