SIOUX CITY | Brian Curtis Geary, 32, of Sioux City, died from a seizure in his sleep Saturday, Oct. 8, 2016, at his home.

Memorial services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with the Rev. William Vit officiating. Private graveside services will be at a later date. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, with a rosary at 7:30 p.m., all at the church.

Brian was born on May 5, 1984, in Sioux City, the son of Kenneth and Diane Geary. He attended Holy Family School and graduated from North High School. Brian was employed with Windy City Pizza, Godfather's Pizza, in construction, Bank Shot Billiards, and as a day laborer.

He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Brian had a thousand-watt smile and a humor to go along with it. He had a talent for magic and impersonations, and a voice that made him a great announcer. For many years, he was involved with a local wrestling group called PCW; his persona, "Terrance Turtle," was hugely popular and even now is still talked about and can be viewed on YouTube. Brian was an avid bike rider and often trained with his "big brother," Chris for RAGBRAI. He loved football and was a Chiefs fan and he was often seen at the Bandits games, cheering for them and jeering the opponents.

Brian enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Nothing brought him as much joy as to entertain and joke with them. Brian was interested in space and space travel and he would often call to ask if we had heard the latest news on deep space photos. Everyone that speaks of Brian, all say how he made them laugh, it is that laugh and that huge smile and hugs that we will cherish and miss forever.

Survivors include his parents; his siblings, Albert, Desirae, Monica, Christina and Sara; his "big brother," Chris; his grandfather, Eugene Geary; his grandmother, Julie Domina; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his grandma, "Gram," Roxie Geary; a niece, Autumn Chesher-Lambregtse; and a cousin, Amity Rice.

Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Lambregtse, Jeff Eichmann, Curtis Eichmann, Kyle Eichmann, and Wyatt Lara.
