Leon M. Ashley, 66, a former Sioux Cityan and employe of the First National bank for 40 years, died Sunday in Los Angeles after an illness of two months.

Mr. Ashley was born July 10, 1881, in Michigan. He married Mabel E. Isham in 1900. He was a resident here 41 years before moving to Los Angeles in 1941. He was employed there as an auditor for a broadcasting company.

Survivors include the widow; two daughters, Mrs. Harold P. King and Mrs. Harold Fawcett, both of Los Angeles; a sister, Mrs. C. H. Randall on Indianapolis; a half-sister, Mrs. Mary Berry and a half-brother, H.J. Ashley, both in Michigan and two grandchildren.
