Online condolences may be sent to www.lensingfuneral.com.

Jordan was born on March 11, 1988, in Des Moines, Iowa, the daughter of Andrea and Dean Burger. In 1989, Jordan and her parents moved to Lawrence, Kan., where she went to Johnnie Appleseed Preschool and Deerfield Elementary through the second grade. In 1996, her family moved to Sioux City. Jordan attended St Michael School in Sioux City. In 2006, she graduated from Bishop Heelan High School.

In 2012, at the age of 24, Jordan graduated from Drake University in Des Moines, with a doctorate in pharmacy and an MBA. While at Drake, Jordan was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority, Beta Kappa Chapter of which she was a vice president her senior year. She was also a member of Lambda Kappa Sigma Professional Pharmacy Fraternity. In 2011, Jordan worked a rotation in Melbourne, Australia at a Chemist Shop and then traveled through eastern Australia and New Zealand.

She completed her administrative pharmacy residency in 2014 from the University of Utah Hospital in Salt Lake City. In her free time, Jordan loved hiking the National Parks throughout Utah and took up running, completing several half marathons. She also loved skiing in Park City, Utah, and playing in a kickball league with her co-residents.

In 2014, Jordan moved back to Iowa, accepting the administrative pharmacist position of Pharmacy Manager at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics. Jordan was a member of several pharmacy and leadership organizations. She continued running half marathons, including through Disney World and Epcot Center. Prior to leaving for Minneapolis for the weekend, Jordan ran a 13-mile loop around Coralville, just for practice.

Jordan was not only extremely intelligent and beautiful, but she was also extremely thoughtful of other people and their feelings. She was always there to help. She was a firm believer of paying it forward; often paying for the tab of the person behind her in the Starbucks drive-thru. She was the sweetest, kindest and most loving person. She loved seeing her friends and hated seeing them leave. (Jordan was known to cry when her dad would get rid of his old lawn mower.) She was daddy's buddy, her brother's role model and her mother's best friend. Her beautiful smile was infectious.

Jordan, ..........."we miss you so."

Jordan is survived by her parents, Andrea and Dean Burger of Sioux City; brother, Nate of Ames, Iowa; maternal aunt, Lori (Paul) Schroeder of Le Mars, Iowa; paternal aunts, Jane (Jon) McKeever of Lyndon Station, Wis., and Judy (Dave) McCloy of Clinton, Iowa; uncles, Alan Burger of Davenport, Iowa, and Lyle Burger of Milwaukee, Wis.; and cousins, Allie Schroeder of Denver, Colo., Sam Schroeder of Sioux Falls, S.D., AJ Schroeder of Champaign, Ill., Jacob Runde and Joseph Runde, both of Dubuque, Iowa, Nick (Krystal) Burger of Davenport, Andrew Burger of Davenport, and Logan and Kelsie McKeever of Lyndon Station. She leaves many dear friends, sorority sisters, co-workers and Utah co-residents .

Jordan was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Arlys C. and John "J.R" Runde; paternal grandparents, Kay and Edwin Burger; maternal aunt, Teri M. Runde; and maternal uncle, J. Scott Runde.

Jordan was an organ donor. According to Life Source, Jordan's gifts have benefited about 60 people.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to her parents, Dean and Andrea Burger for a scholarship fund that will be established at Drake University.
