Boy Killed By Fall Off Wall

Skull Is Fractured When Child’s Head Strikes Cement Walk

A fractured skull suffered when he fell off a stone wall onto a cement sidewalk resulted in the death Wednesday of Richard Earl Andersen, 3-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Andersen, 3922 Glenn Avenue.

The little boy died at a Sioux City hospital where he was taken following the accident. The boy was playing with his older sister, Lucille, when he fell off the wall, but she was unable to tell how the accident occurred.

Meningitis set in and his condition grew steadily worse until death.

Surviving are his parents, two brothers, Marvin and Luyerne and one sister, Lucille.

Funeral arrangements have not been completed. Anderson’s undertaking establishment is in charge.
