Knights of Columbus to Serve as Pallbearers for Victim of Blast

Funeral of J.F. Albright Is to Be Held on Today

Members of the Knights of Columbus lodge will serve as actives and honorary pallbearers at the funeral services for J.F. Albright, 316 Fourteenth Street, a victim of the blast and fire which Monday night destroyed several buildings at the southeast corner of Fifth and Pearl Street.

The active pallbearers, all fourth degree knights, will be: John W. Carey, J.P. O’Donnell, J.R. Shannon, Frank J. Seney, R.P. Larkin and V.J. Hagan. The honorary pallbearers will be: J.J. Mullaney, M. Gleason, F. L. Reddy, F.B. Collins, J.M. Lynch and A.A. Tritz.

Services will be held at the Cathedral of the Epiphany this morning at 9 o’clock. Rev. J.P. McGuire will celebrate the mass and Rev. T. J. McCarty, pastor, will preach the funeral sermon.

Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Perasso Bros., undertakers, are in charge. The body is at the family residence.

Mr. Albright was the proprietor of the Presto-Life and Columbia Storage Battery shop where the explosion is believed to have occurred. He had lived in Sioux City many years and was well known here. Mr. Albright took an active part in all activities of the Knights of Columbus Lodge.
