William D. Lincoln, 78, of Sioux City died Monday, Dec. 17, 2001, at his residence.

The body was cremated. There will be no services or visitation. Burial will be in Graceland Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.

Mr. Lincoln was born Aug. 20, 1923, in Sioux City, the son of William F. and Martina (Rue) Lincoln. He grew up in Sioux City and graduated from Central High School. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

He was a lifelong Sioux City resident and worked for Nixon Feed and Seed for many years.

Survivors include a brother, Floyd Lincoln of Virginia Beach, Va.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Lincoln; and a sister, Marguerite Robinow.
