Funeral at Pierson for Lifelong Resident

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at Pierson, Iowa for Albert E. Price, 81, a lifelong resident on a farm near Pierson, who passed away at the family home.

Born June 24, 1846, Mr. Price bought the farm in 1868. He had enlisted four years previously as a volunteer in the Fourth Wisconsin Calvary. He was discharged from the union army in 1865.

Mr. Price was a member of General Bell post No. 332, G.A.R. at Kingsley, Iowa.

Interment was made in Good Hope Cemetery.
