SIOUX CITY | Tony C. Stabile, 89, of Sioux City passed away Saturday, June 11, 2016, at his home.

Abiding by his wishes, cremation has taken place and entombment will be at Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum. Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel assisted the family with arrangements.

Tony was born on Dec. 2, 1926, in Sioux City, the son of Frank and Mary Ann (Pagano) Stabile. He attended St. Joseph School, Woodrow Wilson, and Central High in Sioux City. Tony attended Morningside College for two years. He was of the Catholic faith.

Tony worked for Cudahy’s, Armour, National Foods, and Hoerner Waldorf.

He married Betty Tillis on Aug. 30, 1948, and to this union, three children were born, Patricia, Anthony and Nicholas.

Tony was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, John, Pat, Carl and Joe.
