Bertha Mable Bohall was born to Mary and Nelson Cory March 9, 1893 at Coleridge, Nebr., and died at the University hospital in Iowa City Oct. 12, 1962 after a long illness. She was 69 years, seven months and six days old.

She was united to J. W Bohall in marriage in November 1910. He died in 1943.
They came to Smithland in 1922.

She is survived by a son Harold of Smithland; a foster daughter, Mrs. Phyllis Scott Dicks of Smithland; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; two brothers, Jess and William Cory of Crosley, Minn.; four sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Hansen of Colorado Springs, Colo., Mrs. Winifred Jones of Crosley, Minn., Mrs. Opal Johnson of Seattle, Wash., and Mrs. Gladys Howard of Napa, Cal.

Funeral services were held on Thursday afternoon at the Methodist church with Rev Tritle officiating.

Pallbearers were Art Cook, Ed Claus, Ed Meyers, Herman Steinhoff, Ralph Kunkle and Charles Hair. Burial was in the Smithland cemetery.
