SIOUX CITY | Genelle A. Tuttle, 78, of Sioux City died Sunday, June 12, 2016, at a Sioux City hospital.

No services will be held at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Rush Family Care Service in Onawa, Iowa. Condolences may be left online for the family at www.rushfamilycareservice.com.

Genelle Alamay was born on April 24, 1938, in Sioux City, the daughter of Napoleon and Jennie (Rush) Allard. She graduated from Central High School in 1956 and went on to college and acquired her ADN. She worked as an R.N. in the labor and delivery unit at St. Luke's Hospital in Sioux City for 35 years.

Genelle and Gerald Tuttle were united in marriage in 1955 in Sioux City.

She was a member of Riverside United Methodist Church in Sioux City. She enjoyed flowers, gardening, canning and reading. Her life was full of family and friends.

Survivors include her husband, Gerald Tuttle; three daughters, Candy (Jack) Delperdang, Carrie Jean (Russ) Delperdang and Connie Mae (Thomas) Lenagh; seven grandchildren, Stephanie (Collin) Quinn, Stacey Delperdang, Jeremy Delperdang, Trenton (Elizabeth) Delperdang, Ashley (Barry) Neal, Alex Lenagh and Andrew Lenagh; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Napoleon and Jennie Allard.
