SIOUX CITY | Quindola "Wiggs" Lyman of Whispering Creek Retirement Home in Sioux City, passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2016, at a Sioux City hospital.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Reece Funeral Home in Ottumwa, Iowa. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 9:30 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.

She was born on July 11, 1919, in Bloomfield, Iowa, to Roy and Golda Spurgeon. She had lived in Sioux City, Okoboji, Des Moines and Sun Lakes, Ariz.

Survivors include a brother, Dillon of San Jose, Calif.; children, Steve (Debora) Lyman of Sioux City, Suzanne (Jerry) Chicoine of Scottsdale, Ariz., and Jim (Bonnie) Lyman of Ames, Iowa; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be directed to the Okoboji Protective Association, Box 242, Okoboji, IA 51355.
