Velda Mae McCall, 61, Santa Clara, California, a native of Sioux City, died Thursday at her home Thursday, March 27, 1986, after a long illness.

Mrs. McCall, the former Velda Mae Lamcke, daughter of Ira and Marguerite Lamcke, was born June 30, 1924, in Sioux City. She grew up on a farm near Climbing Hill, Iowa. She returned to Sioux City in the middle ‘40’s and lived here until moving to California in 1957.

She married James McCall May 23, 1953, at Dakota City.

Survivors include her husband, James; two sons, Bill Fuson of San Jose, California, and Bruce McCall of Santa Clara; two daughters, Barbara Fuson of Alamo, California and Betty Villalovos of San Jose; her mother, Marguerite Lamcke of Santa Clara; a brother, Roger Lamcke of Liberal, Kansas and four grandchildren.

Services were held Monday, March 31, 1986 in the Santa Clara Funeral Home in Santa Clara. Burial was in Mission City Memorial Park Cemetery in Santa Clara, California.
