SIOUX CITY | Lois F. Conley, 91, of Rock Island, Ill., formerly of Sioux City, passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2016, in Rock Island.

Memorial services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Michael Catholic Church in Sioux City. The Rev. David Hemann will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Condolences may be sent online at www.meyerbroschapels.com.

Lois was born March 6, 1925, in Webster County, Iowa. She was the daughter of William and Gladys (Vote) McCubbin. Lois grew up in Sac County and graduated from Holstein High School. She married Thomas F. Conley on Oct. 19, 1946, in Sioux City. He died Nov. 25, 1993 in Sioux City.

Lois had been a longtime member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Sioux City.

Survivors include her six children, Richard Conley (Carol) of Sioux City, Steven Conley (Mary) of Dakota Dunes, S.D., Robert Conley (Mary) of Sioux City, Timothy Conley (Jamie) of Sioux City, Michael Conley (Linda) of Mooresville, N.C., and Pamela Hooks (Doug) of Rock Island, Ill.; 16 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren. Lois is also survived by four sisters-in-law, Lois McCubbin, Agnes Chavez, Nancy Conley and Barb McCubbin.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Thomas; and four brothers, Lawrence, Leonard, Leroy and Larry McCubbin.
