Funeral Was Largely Attended

The funeral of Ira W. Jones was held in the home of his parents, Mr. and mrs. Dan Jones. Rev. J.A. Campbell officiated. A quartet composed of Oscar Castle, Dr. Cook, F.M. Hutchinson and Lawrence Young, sang accompanied on the piano by Miss Gertrude Copeland. The pall bearers were: R.C. Thom, Earl Wilkin, G.E. Conklin, James Cobb, Burr Foster, and F.B. Warner. Interment was made in the Correctionville Cemetery.

At the funeral one great evidence of friendship for the loved one was the large bank of flowers around the casket. The twenty-six former neighbor of the deceased brought a magnificent floral tribute and likewise the different societies and friends in town. Relatives and friends from out of town who attended the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Jones of Moville, Mr. and Mrs. Will Cooper of Moville, Mr. and Mrs. R. M. Foster and family of Lawton, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Barnard of Lawton and Mr. and Mrs. S. J. Cooper of Lawton.
