SIOUX CITY | Dolores Ann Peck, 84, of Laurium, Mich., formerly of Sioux City, died Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2015, of pneumonia at Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital in Laurium.

Cremation took place at Valley North Crematory in Lake Linden, Mich. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Calvary Cemetery, Mount Sinai section, Sioux City, with the Rev. Jerry Cosgrove officiating. A luncheon for friends and family will follow at Bev's on the River.

Dolores was born on April 15, 1931, in Sioux City, the daughter of Clarence and Nellie Veronica (Bliss) Peck. She graduated from Cathedral High School in Sioux City in 1949, and attended Briar Cliff College.

During the years, Dolores worked as an accountant and secretary. She worked at KTIV Channel 4 in Sioux City for many years before moving to California in the late 1960s. She also lived in Arizona, Atlanta, Ga., and Connecticut before moving to Michigan.

One of her fondest memories was a trip to Europe in the early 1960s. She adored her nieces and nephew and was always their biggest supporter.

Survivors include her brother, Leo Peck of Davenport, Iowa; six nieces, Lee Anne Peck of Fort Collins, Colo., Megan (Peck) LaForest of Greeley, Colo., Janine (Peck) Stichter of Columbia, Mo., Sorcia (Peck) Hangihan, Tomara (Peck) Meegan of Russell, Mass., and Jennifer (Peck) Wochomurka; and a nephew, Jeffrey Peck of Atlanta.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her younger brother, Fay Peck.
