15 April 2016SIOUX CITY | Nancy Lou Certain, 61, of Sioux City passed away Friday, April 8, 2016, at Hallmark Care Center.
Per her wishes, the body was cremated. Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Southern Hills Baptist Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel. Online condolences may be sent to www.meyerbroschapels.com.
Nancy was born on Dec. 16, 1954, in Vermillion, S.D., to Herman and Leona (Lane) Holmes. She graduated from Vermillion High School. She worked for many years making Pepsi bottles and later worked for Gelita.
She enjoyed horseback riding and was a member of Southern Hills Baptist Church.
Nancy is survived by her son, Johnathon (Anna) Certain of Sioux City; four grandchildren; and her brother, Mike (Linda "Kitty") Holmes of Elk Point, S.D.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
