SIOUX CITY | Donna Marie Bearden of Le Mars, Iowa, formerly of Sioux City, died Wednesday, March 16, 2016, in her home.

Her body was cremated. No services are planned at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel in Sioux City.

Donna, the daughter of Edith and Wood Haviland, was born on Jan. 2, 1923, in Sioux City. She was a lifelong resident of Sioux City until her husband of 60 years passed away. She then moved to Le Mars to be closer to family.

She married Virgil Bearden on Feb. 9, 1946, in Sioux City. She worked for Wincharger and Younker's. She loved spending time with family and going on vacation.

Survivors include her son, Larry (Sandy, friend) Olson of Sioux Falls, S.D.; a daughter, Vicki Denekas (Gene Haring, friend) of Le Mars; daughter-in-law, Ann Olson of Lake Worth, Fla.; grandkids; and great-grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her parents; all her sibling; husband, Virgil Bearden; a son, Daniel Olson; a granddaughter; grandson; and great-granddaughter.
