Graveside services for Stanley D. Essig, 46, of Eau Claire, Wis., a former Sioux City resident, will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Correctionville Cemetery. The Rev. Franklin Schwarm of Riverside Methodist Church will officiate and the Correctionville American Legion post will conduct military rites. Burial will be under the direction of the Anderson Funeral Home of Sioux City.

Mr. Essig, a former Armour & Co. accountant, died unexpectedly Friday at Eau Claire.

Mr. Essig was born September 10, 1919, in Sioux City. He lived in Sioux City until six years ago and was an accountant for Armour & Co. here. He was a veteran of World War II.

Survivors include the widow Joy; two sons, Randy and Jon, both of Eau Claire; his father, T.D. Essig of Sioux City; and two brothers, Robert of San Selmo, California and Thearl of St. Joseph, Missouri.
