Mrs. Clarence Weber, 71, 2011 S. Helen St., died Sunday at a Sioux City hospital after a brief illness.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. John’s United Church of Christ at Hornick. The Rev. Martin Knudson of St. John’s Church and the Rev. Henry Held of Sloan will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of the Willman Funeral Home, Rodney, Iowa.

Mrs. Weber was born March 9, 1895, at Hornick. The former Minnie Margaret Unkel, she was married to Clarence Weber September 12, 1917. They farmed near Hornick until 1951, when they moved to Sioux City.

Survivors include the widower; a daughter, Mrs. Norma Christensen of Hornick; two sons, Merald of Hornick and Cecil of Sioux City; a sister, Mrs. Edna Deist of Sioux City; and six grandchildren.
