SIOUX CITY | Julia A. "Ginger" Hamilton, 92, of Sioux City, our beloved mom was called to rest Sunday, Feb. 7, 2016, at Westwood Care and Rehab Center.

Services will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Becker–Hunt Funeral Home, with the Rev. Tim Stevens of Lighthouse Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 12:30 p.m. until service time Thursday at the funeral home.

Julia was born on June 17, 1923, in Sioux City, the daughter of Joseph Elmer and Mary Francis (Van Brunt) Anderson. Julia loved cooking, vegetable gardening, watching the birds at her feeder and crocheting rugs. She was a member Zion Lutheran Church in Maskell, Neb.

Julia had nine children, those left to honor her and her late husband, Eugene Beach Sr. are, Eugene Beach Jr. of Le Mars, Iowa, Larry (Tracey) Beach of Sioux City, Julia (Duane) Peterson of Sioux City, and Patty (Mike) Richter of Sioux City; her and her late husband, Ed Rogers, Mary Broyhill of Ash Grove, Mo., and Ronnie (Robert) Fowler of Newport Richy, Fla.; 17 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands; three sons, Robert John Beach in infancy, Vernon E. Beach, and James E. Rogers; a brother, Orville Anderson; and two sisters, Darlene Moose, and Delores Kryger.

Pallbearers will be Christopher Beach, Jason Ward, Eli Ochoa, Gunner Holbrook, Michael Johnson and Shawn Broyhill
