Arnold B. Grindberg, 48, 708 S. Paxton Street, a native Sioux Cityan, died Wednesday night in a hospital at Rochester, Minn.

Funeral services will be held in the home at 2 p.m. and in Morningside Lutheran Church at 2:30 p.m. Saturday. Rev. E.T. Boe will officiate. Burial will be in Graceland Park Cemetery.

He was born May 1, 1896, in Sioux City where he spent his entire life. He was a charter member of the Morningside Lutheran Church and a veteran of World War 1. For 20 years he was an employee of Sioux City Gas and Electric Company.

Survivors are the widow, Ellen, Sioux City; three daughters, Mrs. James J. Webb, Pensacola, Fla.; Miss Marian Grindberg, Ocean Side California and Miss Dorothy Grindberg, Sioux City; two sons, Arnold, Jr. and Carlton, both at home; four brothers, T.C., Alfred, Martin and Rev. Carl, all of Sioux City; two sisters, Mrs. Louis Larson, Sioux City, and Mrs. K.O. Gjernes, Forman, N.D.

The body will be taken from the Nelson-Berger funeral home to the residence Saturday morning.
