Kerry Kay Frink-Wetzel of Sioux City passed away into her heavenly kingdom to be with her Lord Monday, Nov. 19, 2007, after a lengthy illness.

Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Boniface Catholic Church, with the Rev. James Bruch officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m., at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Condolences may be sent online to www.meyerbroschapels.com.

Kerry was born Oct. 2, 1964, in Sioux City, the daughter of Jim and Lois (Rogers) Frink. She attended Blessed Sacrament Grade School, then Bryant, North Junior and graduated from North High School in 1983.

She recently married Billy Wetzel after being together for 19 years. After graduation, she worked for 22 years as a representative for MCI. Most recently, she was employed with F.I.M.C.O. Inc.

She was admired for her love of friends and family, her quick wit and ability to make people laugh and love her. Her greatest joy was having family cookouts and fabulous pool parties at her home. Her treasured memories were the fishing trips she went on with her devoted husband, Billy and daughter, Brandi and her favorite friend and brother-in-law, Danny Wetzel. She was truly loved by all who met her, with her sparkling personality and always willing to help others. She will be missed by all who knew her.

She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church.

Survivors include her husband, Billy Wetzel; a daughter, Brandi Wetzel of Sioux City; her parents, Jim and Lois Frink of Sioux City; sisters, Mardi Hendricks of Sioux City and Connie Frink of Phoenix, Ariz. and her son, Aaron; a brother and his wife, Jamie "Jay" and Candi Frink of Shreveport, La. and their children, Jason and Nicole; and her mother-in-law, Patsy Wetzel.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Adeline and Joseph Frink and Bess and David Rogers; and her father-in-law, William N. Wetzel.
