Dale M. McGraw, 73, of Sioux City died Saturday, Dec. 30, 2000, at a Sioux City care center.

There will be no services or visitation. His body was donated to the University of Iowa. Larkin Northside Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. McGraw was born March 4, 1927, in Sioux City, the son of Arthur and Bessie E. (Doty) McGraw. He attended Central High School. He lived in Sioux City most of his life. He worked for Swift and Company and for the Armour Packing Plant for many years. He retired in the 1980s.

He was a member of the Local Meatcutters Union. He enjoyed playing pool and had played in leagues in the area.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Survivors include a sister, Lillian Roberts of Seattle, Wash., and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother and a brother, Arthur.
