31 December 2000Marlene Mae Prichard, 65, of Springfield, Mo., formerly of Sioux City, died Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2000, at Cox Hospital in Springfield following a brief illness.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Central Assembly of God Church in Sioux City with the Rev. Craig Mellendorf officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Park Cemetery in Sioux City. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the services at the church.
Mrs. Prichard was born July 1, 1935, in Sioux City, the daughter of Emmett and Fern (Horsley) White. She married Roy 'Junior' Prichard on Dec. 31, 1955, in Elk Point, S.D. She was a school bus driver for Heelan and Westwood Community Schools for four years. She became a homemaker after that. They moved to Springfield in 1988.
Survivors include her mother; four sons, Daryl and his wife, Jill, and Guy and his wife, Lori, all of Sioux City, Russell and his wife, Pam, and Brian and his wife, Melissa, all of Springfield; a daughter and her husband, Kim and Joseph Allen of Sioux City; her stepmother, Lucille White of Sioux City; three half sisters, Karen and her husband, Gary Lien, Judy Storms, and Patty Wells, all of Sioux City; nine grandchildren, Jeff and Jason Allen, Nicole, Chad, Lindsay, Adam, Sean, Ben and Aaron Prichard; and a great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Randall; and her father
