Marilyn M. Bauman, 65, of Sioux City died Saturday, Dec. 23, 2000, at a Sioux City hospital.

Services will be 2 p.m. today at Mohr Funeral Home in Ponca, Neb., with the Rev. George Zuhnder of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Sioux City officiating. Burial will be in Silver Ridge Cemetery. Visitation with the family present will be noon until service time today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Bauman was born Feb. 23, 1935, in Ponca, the daughter of Theodore and Louise (Stark) Harder. She graduated from Ponca High School in 1952.

She married Jerome Bauman on March 27, 1953, in Martinsburg, Neb. The couple made their home in Sioux City, where she was a homemaker.

She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and enjoyed crocheting.

Survivors include her husband; two sons and their wives, Michael and Debbie of Sioux City and Kenneth and Laura of Sioux Falls, S.D.; a daughter and her husband, Susan and Dan Schlumbaum of White Bear Lake, Minn.; a half brother and his wife, Jim and Beth Harder of Moville, Iowa; a half sister, Kay Harder of Sioux City; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a half brother, John Harder.

Pallbearers will be James, Douglas, C.J., and Scott Bauman, Brian Galvin, Eric Skogen and Dan Schoon.
