Russell C. LoCoco, 67, of Sioux City died Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2000, at a Sioux City hospital.

Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Michael Catholic Church, with the Rev. Timothy Hogan officiating. Burial of the cremains will be at a later date. There will be no visitation. Arrangements are under the direction of Larkin Northside Funeral Home.

Mr. LoCoco was born Jan. 1, 1933, in Chicago the son of Sam and Anna (Brennan) LoCoco. He graduated from high school in Chicago.

He married Dorothy Ryan on April 29, 1966, in Bloomington, Ill. The couple moved to Sioux City 10 years ago from Reno, Nev. He was employed as a chef in several locations.

He was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church and a former member of 3rd Degree Knights of Columbus.

Survivors include his wife; a stepson, Wayne Plotner of Joliet, Ill.; a stepdaughter and her husband, Beverly and Ronald McLay of McCook Lake, S.D.; three grandsons, Duane, Douglas and Bradley; and a great-granddaughter.
